In the not-to-distant future, there’s only one city left where people still live in relative harmony. Those that live outside live short desparate lives filled with metal monster and horrific endings. Only the strongest warriors even stand a chance against the weapons of the future that roam the desolate cities.

There’s really only one woman that has the skills to survive and even her old partner nows how dangerous she is. After their time together in cities his body was damaged and he was given a new body, while hers is still looking pretty good.

Fortunetly for the people of the last city they have both of them to protect the people and the sinthoid people from those that would still wage war in the streets.

I’ve always been a big fan of natural selection and believe that nature does away with stupid people for a reason. Sadly, even after the zombie apocalypse there are do-gooders that believe that its their duty to keep the blatantly useless family members alive. When Kyle decides it’s a good idea to go zombie hunting on his own during the night he leaves behind a lego decoy of himself, which may be the smartest thing he does in this comic.

The rest of the survivors rush to find him lost and not doing so well against the unending hordes of the undead. Even the best zombie hunters amongst them are concerned that fighting the undead at night is too dangerous. They’d be right of course, and as the battle rages they begin to loose ground and their vehicle. To complicate matters even more, the survivors had released the the zoo animals and now they’re in the middle of the battle.

The zombies are also smarter than Kyle, as they work together to set a trap for the entire squad. Just when things are at their darkest, the survivors run into nerds. Whether or not the fanboys will be helpful or not remains to be seen. Fanboys vs. Zombies is a fun, quick read that is recommend for nerds, zombie hunters or fans of evolution.

General M. Bison and his forces have taken over shadalou city. Taking a dozen hostages and multiple A.N. soldiers from under the command of Colonel William F. Guile including his best friend Charles Blanca. In three days General Bison will execute his prisoners with his latest weapon if he hasn’t been given 20 billion dollars.

Ken and Ryu have been planning on ripping off the local gun runner Sagat but, find themselves caught and caged in a death match. The only thing that saves their lives is raid by A.N. forces lead by Colonel guile. He takes Ken and Ryu and shows them what Sagat and Bison have been doing to innocent people. The three of them put on a show to win over Sagat and get ken and Ryu into Bisons lair.

Luckily the news brought to you by Chun-Li Zang and her camera man Balrog and tec Honda reported to the world the demise of Colonel Guile. Everyone including Bison and Sagat have fallen for the ruse and Ken and Ryu are honored guest of Sagat. The only ones to question whats happening ish Chun-li and her boys.

Chun-li plans on destroying General Bison personally by blowing up, the General and Sagat at a party to celebrate the death of Colonel Guile. The only problem is Ken and Ryu are in the middle of the blast area. After warning Ken and Ryu they have to give up Chun-li to save themselves, when they walk between the two bloodthirsty warlords.

General Bison takes them all prison and brings them to watch the slaughter of the hostages. There only hope is Colonel Guile will disobey orders when the A.N. forces are ordered to stand down, because Bison is going to be paid the 20 billion dollars.

The Queen and I both like this movie its an 90′s classic that’s fun and entertaining. Its great to see all your favorite characters from the Street Fighter video game come to life.

Cosplay artist and model Angela Bermudez was so helpful putting together her cosplay page. She even went out of her way to have a professor check her answers to make sure her English was perfect. Angela is from Costa Rica and at 25 she has put together an amazing array of costumes, that she’s here to share with you.

(CK) What kind of artist are you?
(AB) I could not really focus in just one area, if I had to I would say plastic art; oil and acrylic painting, also graphit; but lately I have developed more my digital painting, it’s less the mess I got to pick up when I use my tablet
Years ago I studied some music and I’ll start again this year, hopefully next month.
Photography is another one of my hobbies, but I prefer to be the model most of the times. Fashion design is something I’ve been attracted to since I was little, attended an academy but that “spark” or “thing” you can only get it through the years.

(CK) Tell us about your work?
(AB) All the stuff I do I take it seriously, is it a hobby or not; always like to project a certain professionalism level in the things I do, that’s how I ended up making costumes for other cosplayers, music bands and even sport celebrities here in Costa Rica.

(CK) What kind of people are attracted to your work?
(AB) There are some restrictions as far as appreciating someone’s art. Cosplay related, most of the people are young; but with my painting work my target audience is more mature, mostly because of the themes I choose for them (retro fan).

(CK) Have you always’s been an artist and into cosplay.
(AB) As I mentioned earlier, I have always being into painting, music and fashion desing, I remember I used to make dresses for my dolls when I was a kid.
I got into the cosplay world in ’06, that’s when I assisted to my very first anime convention.

(CK) Was it tough growing up with an interest in cosplay.
(AB) Not really, I’ve always had my family support on it, specially my husband, who is in charge of 90% of my photos and key part in why I’m still doing this.

(CK) How did you deal with people that don’t understand your art or cosplay.
(AB) If someone is not interested on it, better not to say anything about it; but if the person is curious I would gladly explain everything about it, on the other hand if they give their opinion but don’t really understand it, it’s best to ignore what they say, they usually just want to bother.

(CK) What kind of nerd things did you do when you were younger to prepare you for what your doing today?
(AB) As all the cosplayers I know, to get into this world you first have to watch some anime and plays video games; this second thing I still do when I meet with my friends.

(CK) Do your artistic/cosplay skill’s pay off with the Ladies/Gentlemen?
(AB) I think so,I’ve being praised for my appearance, but what I like the most is to read the comment people do about the job I did on the armor, weapons, make-up or jusr overall design

(CK) are you attracted to other nerds, artist or cosplayers?
(AB) Of course, as everybody, I got someone I admire on this field.

(CK) What kind of nerd qualities attract you most in a person?
(AB) I love smart and humble people, that has artistic skills, painting or music or simply people who share fun facts once in a while, love that.
It’s also important that if I have a doubt or an idea to share, I would like the person to be willing to consider it kindly.

(CK) Whats your favorite nerd programming to watch?
(AB) Since i was a kid i’ve always watched the Nat Geo documentaries.. is that valid?

(CK) Are you a star trek or star wars fan?
(AB) Being honest, I’ve only watched a couple Star Wars movies ): so I can’t really choose one at the moment.

(CK) If you were going to play any role in a anime/manga or scifi who would it be and why?
(AB) I would be some sort of witch that tries to destroy anything I got no use for, like Rita Repulsa but with a better outfit ;D

(CK) What kind of things do you do in your spare time?
(AB) The kind of stuff you watch on my page

(CK) Anything nerdy?
(AB) Pretty much everything lol

(CK) What does cosplay mean to you?
(AB) It’s some kind of gateway from the real to a fictionary world, where I can escape from the rutine and stress for a little bit.

(CK) Do you play on any game systems? (Xbox, play station, wii)ETC.?
(AB) We got a PS3 at home, a Wii to play Just Dance once in a while (not really a Mario fan) and a PS Vita that I won from a Play Station contest, which by the way is one of my most precious items because it came with an autograph from Hideo Kojima who is one of the people I admire the most.

(CK) What kind of games get your attention?
(AB) Mostly FPS and some platform games.

(CK) Whats your favorite game?
(AB) Can’t really choose one right now, but I can say Metal Gear 3 is one of the games i’ve enjoyed playing the most.

(CK) Tell us about your nerd view of the future?
(AB) I got no idea! will just keep doing what i love and whatever has to happen will happen.

(CK) What would your ideal nerd future include.
(AB) It would be great to have the oportunity to work as a game tester some time, not having to wait those darned 60 seconds to download a file, get taxed waived when you buy something from out of the country, get a virtually unlimited internet connection speed, also that every single video game came with and art book and a figurine for the same price as the regular version

(CK) What is your next nerd accomplishment?
(AB) I really hope I can attend to a San Diego Comic Con, have had that dream for at least 3 years and still do; wish to personally meet Hideo Kojima, Stan Lee, and Clint Eastwood. Wanna work for a Hollywood studio making props, armors, clothings for mythical creatures or mythical creatures themselves! There’s so much to do!

I have to say this new princess caught my attention, and I had to give Star Wars Episode Vll-Return of the Empire a shot. The videos a little slow going in the beginning but, the way the creators spliced themselves into the Star Wars films was very funny. Brace yourselves and be prepare for the Return of the Empire. At least they know how to dress their slave girls, if your looking for the bright side of the Empire.

A Navy Seal team has been tasked with infiltrating a small island, and freeing a family that’s being held by a local guerrilla force. They trained for missions like this day-in and day-out and it should be a piece of cake. Only what they don’t know is that they’ve already been compromised. The only thing waiting for them on the beach they’re landing on is an ambush that they’ll be lucky to survive.

As things are going bad for the seals, Mitch Rapp and his beautiful new wife are enjoying the last day of their honeymoon. They’d both love to spend the rest of their lives on vacation but, Anna has to go back to work as a white house reporter and Rapps special skills are needed elsewhere.

As a man with talents of his own, who goes by the name David, has plans to reshape the world. He believes his people of Palestine deserve a home to call their own. He’s worked almost his entire life putting the pieces of this particular chess board into position. Only now at the very end does he begin to question his choice in a financier; an Arab Prince who’s love for pleasure and the finer things in life are getting in the way.

As Rapp and his Seal Team buddies attempt to put an end to a traitor and rescue the hostages, David turns the world upside down and gets every security agency on the planet after him. No one knows who he is or what his final goals are, but they know a new player is disrupting the peace they’ve worked hard to put in place.

David’s a great character that I’m sure you and Rapp will both appreciate. Even if they’re on opposite sides of this great cloak-and-dagger game. Vince Flynn makes every character come to life, whether you love or hate them, you feel the intensity of men trying to change the world.

Micronauts is an interesting read, but it has a few problems that I found along the way. A black hole or rift has opened up in the desert of Las Vegas and it’s swallowed several millionaires. This was enough to get the attention of the government, as if a black hole in the desert wasn’t enough to get their attention. A gigantic research facility is built up around the rift and a dampener is developed to contain it.

A genius scientist is brought in to find a way to get the millionaires back out of the rift and find out whats on the other side. This scientist is smart enough to build a machine to travel through to the other side of the rift and find whats on the other side. He’s not smart enough to leave his 35 year old son Ryan behind whose known for his irresponsibility.

As the experiment begins, Ryan distracts his father long enough for things to go from bad to worse. This time things aren’t being sucked into the rift things are coming through. People are dying and those that are lucky enough to survive the attack are being taken back through the rift. Ryan is about to find out what life on the other side of the rift is like and so far he’s in plasma chains, but he’s making friends with the other prisoner. Things could be looking up or the ruler of this world may have more devious plans for him?

On a mission lead by Darkstar Donna Troy, the Titans including Supergirl and Green Lantern have been sucked into a gravity well. The entire team has found themselves on the other side of the galaxy and half the team has been imprisoned inside a Progenitors intergalactic battleship. Donna has sent Supergirl and Green Lantern to attempt a rescue mission of the Titans, while she and Minion remain in reserve. Watching the Progenitors fleet attacking a planet from space and decimating its population.

Green Lantern and Supergirl battle the ships weaponry and an unending wave of Progenitors. Donna and Minion quibble over what to do. Minion refuses to follow orders and throws himself into the battle, leaving Donna to worry about the fate of the battle and if Supergirl will steal Green Lanterns heart.

Unbeknownst to Donna and any other members of the Titans, Supergirl has a secret that could help them save the team…only if she feels like she can trust Green lantern enough with a secret that she doesn’t like to share with anyone. Green Lantern will have to work fast or else the Progenitors may consume the entire universe.

Cosplay Artist Neferet is 24, and is the first cosplay artist from Argentina to ever be featured on The Comic King. I admit I had to use google maps to find Argentina, but with Neferet on the big screen it shouldn’t be to hard to find.

(CK) What kind of artist are you?
(Nef) Im just a cosplayer. I love theater since I was very young, so I really love planning differents performances on stage. And, of course, I really enjoy sewing my costumes. Im a geek girl, so I can integrate in cosplay my love for the theater and my geek-side.

(CK) Tell us about your work?
(Nef) Well, I am cosplayer and cosmaker since 2008. Up to now, I made 40 different costumes more or less from anime, manga, videogames and comics. I love joining in cosplay contests! specially if I can do a performance. I had the great oportunity to join two different international contests too, Yamato Cosplay Cup in 2009 and World Cosplay Masters in 2012 (and I won the first place).

(CK) What kind of people are attracted to your work?
(Nef) I think most of the people are other cosplayers and geeks. A lot of people ask me for cosplay tutorials or costume comissions.

(CK) Have you always’s been an artist and into cosplay.
(Nef) I started cosplaying in 2008. My first time on stage was thanks to cosplay. Before that, I was limitated to school events hahaha

(CK) Was it tough growing up with an interest in cosplay.
(Nef) Not really. I’m a geek girl since I have memory, so when I went to my first convention and I saw the cosplayers…. It was love at first sight! One year after my first con I did my first cosplay

(CK) How did you deal with people that don’t understand your art or cosplay.
(Nef) I’m not afraid about that. People are free to think whatever they want, the problem is when people criticize without knowing what cosplay is about. It’s just a hobby to enjoy with friends and do creative things.

(CK) What kind of nerd things did you do when you were younger to prepare you for what your doing today?
(Nef) I started playing videogames in a Colecovision console when I was 5 years old. Also, I always loved anime and sci-fi movies like Alien, Terminator, etc.

(CK) Whats your favorite nerd programming to watch?
(Nef) I always see a short nerd programming called “TN Tecno” in an Argentinian tv chanel, but I don’t have a favorite program

(CK) Are you a star trek or star wars fan?
(Nef) Star Trek! ! My cat´s name is Captain Spock hahaha

(CK) If you were going to play any role in a anime/manga or scifi who would it be and why?
(Nef) I love strong women, mysterious and inteligent with a dark side or bad attitude hahaha In real life I am not exactly a mysterious woman or a dark one but I like playing characters with these characteristics, like Pandora from Saint Seiya or Raven from Titans. Those characters are two of my best cosplays and interpretations.

(CK) What kind of things do you do in your spare time?
(Nef) I love reading manga or comicbooks, also playing videogames. I make my own cosplays and accessories too.

(CK) Anything nerdy?
(Nef) Well, I’m a biology professor, and sometimes I use nerdy things to explain some lessons to my students.

(CK) What does cosplay mean to you?
(Nef) Cosplay is a hobby to enjoy with friends. You can try to win some award in a cosplay contest, have cool photoshoots and meet new friends. Cosplay is also a chance to shine on a stage.

(CK) Do you plan on any game systems? (Xbox, play station, wii)ETC.?
(Nef) I love the Nintendo games! (classics and new ones too). I like role-playing games as well in my pc. In my childhood I played with an old Coleco console and the classic NES.
What kind of games get your attention?
I love RPG´s games and the classic arcade games
Whats your favorite game?
Super Mario Bross and Pokemon Yellow by far

(CK) Tell us about your nerd view of the future?
(Nef) For the moment, I want visit the ComiCon and the Anime Expo in USA.

(CK) What would your ideal nerd future include.
(Nef) I want a gamer room! with many videogame consoles and a giant TV. Dreaming doesn’t cost anything, right? Hahaha

(CK) What is your next nerd accomplishment?
(Nef) Well, now my next nerd target is to build a comic book library in my bedroom

The world knows from shore to shore that when giant monsters or aliens attack their city. There is only one sensible thing to do and that’s to build ridiculously large robots to be piloted by elite soldiers and nerds to fight back. Its been awhile since the world has faced such a danger and the Power Rangers have returned to help.

Without the Power Rangers, not only is the world lost, but Pacific Rim is just another big budget trailer.
