In a world were people with special abilities are as regular as the common cold. There are people that try to control them and turn their gifts into weapons by experimenting on them. Trying to increase there powers even if it kills them. There called division and they’ve been after Nick since they killed his father who died fighting.
Before he died protecting his son he told Nick that one day a girl would give him a flower and he would have to help her to save the world. In a wold were people can see the future Division is at Nicks door looking for a girl before he even knows he’s involved in anything.
Kira is the latest test case for Division and unlike so many others she survived the experimental drug. Increasing her ability to push people far beyond her powers originally could. The flower child’s mother whose also been captured has the ability to see the future. Even though Division has her drugged up she helps Kira escape.
Cassie can see the future just like her mom can. Cassie knows that she needs Nicks help to find Kira and the drug she stole from Division or else there all going to die. Especially since the Hong Kong Mafia is also chasing after Kira and the drugs she stole to empower there own gifted thugs.
Even with Cassie’s ability to see the future and Nicks gift to move things. The two of them can’t solve this problem alone with so many other gifted people against them. Nick takes Cassie to one of his friends Hook who can change things temporarily to whatever he wants. Hook leads them to Emily Hu another Division victim.
After finding Kira, Cassies visions of the future just get worse killing everyone involved. Nick decides to go head to head with Division and takes on two of its most powerful agents.
The only thing to save Nick is the fact that Divsion’s already seen the future and they happy with the current outcome. There patient and can wait for him and all the rest to die later so they can get the girl and the drug.
Nick will have to find a way to keep Division and the Hong Kong Mafia from seeing there future long enough for him and his friends to save all there lives. Push is a fun with some great fight sequences although, it doesn’t completely live up to all its potential. The Queen and I thought this movie was OK with potential for rare sequel that could actually be better than the original.
