I’ve been a big fan of the X-Men since long before I became the Comic King. This spin off series Gambit and the X-Ternals after Xavier the age of Apocalypse called upon the farthest reaches of my minds knowledge of the X-Men, Gambit, Magnet and all the Characters of the Shi’ar Imperium to follow the action. Some of it was still a struggle for facts and trying to wrap your brain around infinite dimensions crossing and collapsing and the end of everything. If Gambit can’t find away to steal a piece of the M’kraan crystal from the crazed Shi’ar emperor D’ken.
D’ken has an armada in space around the planet and a limitless army of Shi’ar warriors supported by the powerful Gladiator. Sworn to defend the Shi’ar Imperium even if its lead by a mad man. Characters come out of the vastness of space in this issue some of them have a good reason to be there while others seem thrown in for fun. Still others are just odd like the little hairy gremlin like character that lives inside the M’kraan crystal. Gambits and his X-Ternals have a lot of work to do ahead of them especially for a small team of thieves.
