The nerd flag was planted in Boston at the Anime convention as the Queen and I took Princess Iggy and our new friend Erin through one of Boston’s biggest nerd gatherings. One of the best things about taking the nerds taking over Boston for a weekend is the look on ordinary peoples faces as an army of costumed fans descends upon the city.
There were thousands of Anime enthusiast packing the convention hall and the streets beyond. Its easy to get lost if your not careful one poor gentleman named Rick spent the entire convention searching for his lost son Carl. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that since the zombies couldn’t finish him off we threw him to the wolves.
We were frozen with excitement to realize we weren’t the only royalty at the convention as we politely chatted with some princess’s. Before we excused ourselves and continued on taking some fantastic pictures as we went.
The vendors were very friendly and super excited to have the Comic King and Queen of the Nerds stopping by to interview them and take pictures.
